Gina Muzingo, Muzingo Associates www.ginamuzingo.com has
been designing interiors & landscapes specializing in restaurants,
hotels & other commercial establishments & residences
since 1984.
Gina won several awards for her projects and was published
in over fifty hardbound books and magazines with outstanding
reviews, not to mention a feature editorial in The "Los
Angeles Times" Sunday Calendar Section (an outstanding
achievement to all those who follow this periodical). In addition,
she has been seen on several television shows and news broadcast
ranging from ABC News, NBC News, and several
spots on HGTV (Home and Garden Television).
When she was aggressively approached by Disney at
the young age of twenty, she declined the position and plowed
into the corporate world. She then worked for many of the top
restaurant and hotel design consultants in the world that specialized
in interior design, food facility planning and graphic design.
At those firms, she designed hundreds of projects. She also
was one of only two women consultants in food facility planning
in the country for many years.
In 1993 Gina she positioned herself to reach a southern audience
with Catfish Bite and plowed forward being the leader in
setting a “cottage trend” in the home decor
industry spanning across the country. So much so, that
many top named businesses then and now follow her trends. From
then on, her style spread like wild fire throughout the industry
and for years to come. She launched Catfish Bite a manufacturing
company, design showroom, retail store and retail web site
in Los Angeles, CA, Culver City, CA. and Dallas, TX.
Catfish Bite has been featured in over 40 periodicals and
won an Award by Baby & Children's Products News
as "the readers favorites".
Catfish Bite has also been featured on ABC News, NBC

Catfish Bite creates and manufactures high-end
home decor products for many of the top name department
stores and mail order catalogs in the world.
On a personal note: Gina spent twelve
years studying classical piano, jazz trombone and
also studied art, architecture and interior design
from the famed Art Center College of Design in Pasadena,
California.
She resides with her husband of almost twenty years in sunny
Southern California and enjoys gardening in her woodland chic
styled yard, (created & landscaped by Gina) and also attending
agility events with her dog Shelby as well as enjoying her three
kitties Lizzy, Meishe, & Zihua (a rescue by Gina from Zihuatanejo) & all
the fish in her pond.
